Meet Our Dedicated Team

Halley Bopp
Director of Operations / Swim Instructor
Halley Bopp is the Director of Turtle Cove Swim Academy and has been
teaching children to swim for over 10 years. Born and raised in
Jacksonville, Florida, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Early
Childhood Development and loves bringing patience, creativity, and
encouragement into the water. Halley’s teaching style is very “talk it
out” — she believes in explaining skills in a way kids can understand
and giving them choices during lessons so they feel confident and in
control of their progress. She’s passionate about helping little
swimmers not only learn water safety but also discover the joy of
splashing, playing, and swimming with confidence.
Outside of teaching, Halley is a huge animal lover and enjoys all kinds
of creatures. She especially loves learning new animal facts and caring
for injured animals whenever she has the chance.

Audrey Everett
Swim Instructor
Audrey has been a dedicated instructor at Turtle Cove Swim Academy for two years, bringing her competitive swimming experience and vibrant energy to every lesson. As a senior in high school and a member of a summer league swim team, she combines technical skill with a genuine passion for helping kids grow in the water. Her hands-on teaching style makes her a strong role model and an engaging presence in the pool.
Students respond to Audrey’s authenticity and enthusiasm, often leaving lessons feeling confident and excited to improve. Whether she’s guiding beginners or refining advanced technique, she creates a fun, focused environment that encourages progress and builds trust. Audrey’s commitment to safety, skill development, and positive reinforcement makes her a valued part of the Turtle Cove team and a favorite among families.

Leeann Toole
Swim Instructor
Leeann has been a part of the Turtle Cove Swim Academy staff for a year
and brings a bright, bubbly energy to every lesson. She loves connecting
with kids on an emotional level, helping them work through any fears or
nerves so they can feel confident in the water. Leeann has a natural
ability to make lessons fun and encouraging, which helps her swimmers
make progress while enjoying themselves.
Originally from a military family, Leeann grew up moving often and most
recently came to Florida from Maryland. Outside of teaching, she enjoys
spending time with her two younger siblings and is currently in college
pursuing a degree in nursing.
Fun fact: Being in a military family, I got to live in Japan for 10 years.

Katelyn Geller
Swim Instructor
Hi, my name is Katelyn, the kids call me Katie. I’ve been working at Turtle Cove Academy for a few months, and I’m currently a senior in my fourth year of Creekside’s Teaching Academy. Through this program, I’ve gained valuable hands-on experience working with children and guiding them through fun, engaging activities that help them learn and grow. Teaching has always been something I’ve been passionate about, and my time in the academy has allowed me to develop both my skills and my love for working with kids.
I’ve loved the water since I was a baby, which makes being here at Turtle Cove Academy especially meaningful to me. Watching my students grow in confidence, develop new skills, and reach exciting milestones is one of the most rewarding parts of my job. I’m so thankful to be part of this community and to continue growing as an educator while supporting my students in their own journeys.
